The 'Brazosport' area of Brazoria county is rich in things to do and places to go. Brazoria county is the birthplace of Texas with the first freedom shots taken at the old Fort Velasco landing on the Brazos river. We are only an hours drive, to NASA'S Johnson space center, the city of Houston and Galveston is only a short hop up the Beach front road

There are a number of fishing charters, a State fisheries hatchery, The Center for the Arts and Sciences, miles and miles of beaches, many county and city parks, boat ramps, picnic and playground parks,  year round golfing SCUBA diving, surfing & swimming, national wildlife areas, this area is one of the top birding sites in the state. 

We are close to Houston with it's Greyhound Park dog track, Raceway Park thoroughbred  racing, Six Flag's Astroworld theme park.  We have the Astros Baseball, the Rockets Basketball and the Texans Football all within a short drive. There is Galveston's Moody Gardens and the Strand shopping area.
